You will see that Cilydd.Cymru follows a blog / magazine format. For many years now the Cwm News has been our news letter and dome a fine job of it. What we seek to do here is to offer a different canvas.
Here is a place for history - personal or of the Machno valley. For photographs, maps and other documents of interest to the community. Hopefully it will also offer space for creativity.
We start this issue with some maps. As many will remember Dorothy and Brian Archer produced Cwm Rambles, an illustrated (by Sue Small, amongst others) guide to footpaths in and around the Cwm. In this issue we offer the map guides which can be used on mobile devices and followed on the journey, if you have a signal!!
Also, follow the links to the 1888-1913 map of the Cwm. Go to the top of the map and press the 3D for a excellent way of experiencing the landscape.
If you have stories, photographs and ideas for how the site can develop please let us know.
